Stay warm & dry

Stay warm & dry

In the tights department, I usually play it classic, but today, it looks like a 180° fashion shift with this nice silk model coming right from Berthe aux grands pieds‘ shop !

Those of who you are from Nantes might have recognised the store in the Passage Pommeraie 🙂 A few weeks ago, a website was created and sells all the lines of socks, tights and other accessories sold in Nantes, with shipping all around France. I have to say I didn’t go out on a limb by choosing black tights with a small detail, which is just enough to bring some fantasy to a simple look like I’ve been wearing lately (with the cold comes laziness). And to be honest, it’s a nice change from Primark’s tights that ladder within two days… These one are sturdy and most of all really warm, that’s the advantage of silk, it adapts to the season, it breezes when it’s hot, and keeps warm when it’s cold ! It is quite a sum, but I think one pair of tights like that can replace a dozen of the pairs I usually buy… And as a bonus, the waistband is really comfortable, and it’s made in France !

For the rest of the look, I went for basics ! I already had an oilskin from Rains, but lately I invested in the trench version, which is easier to wear daily, it’s classier, and protects just as well from the rain ♡ For the dress, I don’t think I have to mention more than I’ve already done in previous posts.

On that note, I’m off filming a beauty video, if only the rain would stop so you can actually hear my voice… Have a nice day !
